The New Moon is in Gemini and this new moon is bursting with the anticipation of you learning something new or taking your knowledge to the next level. Its appetite for more is intense and exciting. This is the knowledge that has the energy of breaking ceilings and climbing walls. Tune in to the energy because collectively we all could use a few extra helpings of knowledge and brain expansion.

Gemini catches so much flack as a zodiac sign, but in reality, it's the duality that bothers people the most. Seeing both sides of a conflict, not choosing sides, and walking in more than one world at once are things that seem to irritate people who don’t appreciate the gift the Gemini holds. 

This Gemini New Moon, I want you to set aside your ego and say, “I don’t know.” I don’t know is powerful because it energetically makes space for new information. When we feel we know everything we set ourselves on a track to stop growing. The Gemini is considered a childish sign because it is 3rd in line within the Zodiac wheel. I recently heard someone refer to Gemini as mature childish people. I resonate with that. The childish wonder to learn more, while also holding the door open to teach others is quite a Gemini trait. 

This New Moon let’s meditate on dissipating and decentering thoughts and ideas that hold us back from growing and stepping into our evolution. Pay attention to how your body feels when you receive opportunities to learn. If muscles in your body feel tense, massage them or gently stretch them. If you feel yourself glow and radiate from the inside, resonate with that feeling and take steps toward the opportunity.

The Queen of Cups reminds us of the power of a glass that is full. A full glass is something we take for granted in its literal sense. A full glass can provide the initial nourishment for an oak tree. A full glass can offer hope to someone who thought they were dying of thirst. A full glass can cleanse a wound. This is the mentality you should carry forward during this moon cycle. The glass is full.

The Hanged Man (reversed) is telling us about the energy we must purge to make the most of this cycle. The energy of “should be” is what holds most people back. Work as hard as you want at anything, but at some point, your purpose is going to catch up to you. The more you resist, the harder life will become. You “should be” in tune with your path and when you aren’t you must do the work to get yourself back to your path. You “should be” evolving, but you need to get rid of the distractions that appease the ego and the ego alone. 

Three of Cups (reversed) shows your underlying attachments to the comfort zone. There is a big world in front of you that you can join and be a part of because you are welcome, accepted, and belong, but the comfort zone has you trapped. Most people don’t shape their comfort zones alone. They are often formed by society, traditions, and expectations set before we take our first breath.
